Lotus anyone ??

While I was surfing  the internet the other day, I came across a beautiful picture of a Lotus.I loved the picture and thought that it was just calling to be quilled .LOL I am sure many of you will understand what I am talking about ;)I have always loved this flower and enjoy seeing it bloom in the most unlikely of places.Also as I had some new 1/4th inch papers wanted to try out on -edge quilling a la Yulia .I enjoyed the experience and found that on-edge quilling is easier with wider paper that with 1/8 th width .And I must say the Lotus never fails to fascinate me .
