Bingo

Dubaiscrapbooking is hosting a very interesting challenge ..the Bingo card challenge! To participate,  I needed to choose a row that I found interesting from a 'crafty grid' ( pun intended) and make a 6x6 card with it.

The row that appealed to me the most was the diagonal one with Charms, Pearls, Ribbons and Diecuts.

I thought that this row would give me lots of room to play around with my choice of colors and my favorite charms. I hope that I have followed all the rules of the competition..
I absolutely adore the clock die by Marianne Designs and was looking for a reason to use it again! I have used various dies for the foliage and butterfly. The pearls have been used as flower centers and on the clock.
And the sentiments are handwritten and not stamped :)

I loved how my 6x6 easel card turned out and  I hope you appreciate it as well!

Monocromatic all the way

It's been a very long time since I have posted anything  . dubaiscrapbooking is hosting a monochromatic challenge this month and I decided to play along .Had so much of fun! The first combination that came to mind was Black with White..that is my absolute favorite. However I decided to use some of my other fav colors: shades of Purple and shades of Orange. Another deciding factor in the selection of lilac as as base colour for my card was the lovely Lilac glitter embossing powder which is a new addition to my stash :).

A dear friend Swati is the first to participate is any swap or challenge..I love her enthusiasm ,either to learn something new or to teach newbies.she wasn't able to participate in this challenge for personal reasons..so I decided to make something else for her ..

My Sis came visiting last week and she brought some beautiful handmade papers  for me, all  in shades of orange .which was a wonderful coincidence .and so I went with a tag this time.

Hope all of you like what I have come up with....I have had so much fun playing with these colours...So happy you had this challenge Janine and Swati..
